Music for the Eyes 2026#2 – ‘Spring’

This work stages a vibrant clash between structure and exuberance. A field of vertical stripes in blues, greens, and yellows sets up a steady pulse, while thick, looping black contours cut across, knitting the surface into overlapping cells. Within smaller circles and flower motifs mesh textures recalling textile weave or printmaking and giving this painting a tactile density rather than flat pop.

The result is a visual music held in productive tension by an underlying grid and the assertive, roaming black lines.
