Nature of dreams 2023#3

This composition is a kaleidoscopic riot of colour and structure, where floral motifs, abstract geometries, and rhythmic line-work collide in a highly orchestrated chaos. Somsak layers bright, saturated hues —yellows, pinks, reds, and teals— against a teeming backdrop of organic and patterned forms, evoking both the abundance of a garden in full bloom and the visual overload of a digital landscape.

The piece balances meticulous design with explosive energy.  There is a strong sense of play here between flatness and depth, chaos and control, nature and artifice. The patterned background recalls textile design, while the bold layering nods to pop art and contemporary collage.

Ultimately, this work is a vivid, maximalist celebration of form and pattern, pushing visual complexity to the edge of dissonance without ever losing its joyful pulse.

About the art

Detail

Repeated circular forms, suggestive of both flowers and mandalas, are cross-hatched with textured grids and surrounded by a mesh of diagonal stripes in neon tones.

Detail

These stripes create a spatial tension, slicing through the image like barriers or beams of light, and giving the surface a fractured dynamism.
