Tulips 2026#3

This painting makes its impact through sheer chromatic force. There is no single commanding centre; instead, emphasis is scattered across the surface, with thicker orange passages repeatedly catching the eye and creating a lively visual pulse. The composition feels well held, as the intensity is spread with confidence from edge to edge.

About the art

Details

Movement comes from the restless green tracery and the shifting intervals between the raised forms, which keep the surface in motion. Depth remains shallow but not flat, built through layering, overlap and the slight relief of the paint itself. Up close, the texture is deliciously tactile. The clash of hot orange, vivid pink and sharp green gives the work a bold, radiant presence.
